Speech and debate team competed on Saturday, December 7th. The debate team took second place overall. Awarded performances by Grace Erskine, 3rd place in novice Lincoln-Douglas; Clara Parker, 2nd in JV LD; Nora Lane, 4th in Novice LD; Hunter Grimes and Andrew Brenneman, 4th in Varsity Public Forum; Violet Grimsley, 2nd in her House of 17 students in Congress. On the Speech side, Caroline Gentile earned 1st place in novice poetry. Great results for the rebuilding team led by Lisa Melanson.
