Great news from our middle and high school robotics teams!  On Saturday, December 3, middle school team 56E (8th graders Joe Jacobson, Joey Labrie, Madi McCarthy) and high school team 56C (Ryan Collins, Nate Labrie, Caleb Weinstein-Zenner, Matthew Yim) competed at a VEX Robotics Tournament at Hall-Dale High School.
The middle school team went UNDEFEATED 7-0-0 through the morning's Qualification Rounds, where teams are allied repeatedly with different teams and play different teams.  The high school team went 6-1-0 through Qualification Rounds.

The two teams allied together, along with York High School Team 5156B, for the afternoon's Elimination Rounds.  They competed successfully through quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals!  So, 56E and 56C (and YHS 5156B) were Tournament Champions.  They have both now qualified for States in February.

56C was awarded the Excellence Award by judges for Top All Around Team (Robot Performance & Judged). 56E was awarded the Judges Award for Recognition from Judges for special accomplishments.
