On Thursday evening, January 19, twenty-five 5th and 6th grade students on 13 VEX IQ Robotics Teams participated in the first-ever “CE All-Teams” Tournament in the high school’s VEX Robotics Lab.  This was an end-of-semester Cape-only event that combined the Wednesday VEX IQ group and the Friday VEX IQ group.  Students competed using the 2016-17 VEX IQ competition game called “Cross-over.”

A corps of 10 upper middle school and high school students ran the event, from managing tournament software to refereeing to announcing play-by-play.  The rising levels of the high school’s VEX Robotics Lab made for an ideal arena feel for the event.
