In a suburban subdivision with identical houses, parents find their teenagers addicted to an online horror video game. The game setting? A subdivision with identical houses. The goal? Smash through an army of zombies to escape the neighborhood for good. But as the line blurs between virtual and reality, both parents and players realize that fear has a life of its own.
New CEHS Theatre Director Christine Marshall is excited to bring this play to life here at Cape Elizabeth High School, with such a strong cast. "The play, on its surface, is a contemporary thriller, with our addiction to virtual reality at its center. But beneath the central plot, the play speaks to our diminishing ability to speak to one another directly, to communicate fully, to understand each other. It's a very exciting production, and the cast is just wonderful. These students are taking on the demands of a very complex storyline and running with it. It's a pleasure to work with them."
Tickets cost $5 and are available at the door at Cape Elizabeth High School auditorium. Play material is considered in the "PG-13" range.
