Cape Seniors take Biliteracy exam

Fifty seniors in Spanish and French levels 5 and 6 took a proficiency exam in an effort to earn the Seal of Biliteracy.  The exam AAPPL (Assessment Performance towards Proficiency in Languages) is an online exam and assesses listening, reading, speaking and writing.  Students sat for the exam on two consecutive Wednesdays (3/17 & 3/24) in order to complete all sections.

The majority of students took the exam in the gym:

Our 100% remote students took the exam virtually:

Students who meet the required score will receive a Seal of Biliteracy on their high school diploma and transcript.  This is a notable achievement and many businesses and institutions of higher learning recognize it as a certification of competency.
