A Walk in the [Robinson] Woods

The CEMS Grade 7/8 full remote team, also known as Team MOJO (so named by its fearless leaders, Ms. Kris MOniz and Ms. JOanna Payne), spent part of last Wednesday morning walking the trails in Robinson Woods.

Ms. Payne and Mrs. Moniz often invite students to join them for Wednesday in the park activities.  This week, they walked and observed signs of wildlife (tracks in the snow); tried to determine how old a fallen tree was (estimated counting the rings -- it was a big tree!); and explored the shores of the small brook.

Each student then chose a sit spot and students journaled about their walk and we shared our journaling thoughts. The team is hoping for more snow soon so we can enjoy Maine's winter!
