On Saturday, the BioME Student Showcase was held at USM. The Bioscience Association of Maine chose 12 high school life science research projects from the state of Maine as finalists for the event.  Five of those projects were our students: Marta Leary-Forrey, Hartson Mosunic, Emma Young, Lucy Shaw and Aurora Milton. These budding female scientists were articulate, knowledgeable, and passionate. Aurora and Lucy both won 3rd place, a $500 cash prize.!
