For Immediate Release:
CAPE ELIZABETH, ME — The Cape Elizabeth School District and the School Building Committee are pleased to announce that construction bids for the new Cape Elizabeth Middle School and updates to Pond Cove Elementary have come in significantly under budget.
The district received three highly competitive, close bids, all falling well below the allocated budget. Because of these favorable numbers, the Building Committee will not need to execute any cost-cutting deductive alternates. Instead, the district can accept all proposed add alternates, ensuring the community receives the fully realized scope of the project.
