Adam Jenson and Matt Perejda from Tyler Technologies met with Mr. Anesko, members of the CEHS Coding Club and other interested students to learn about the upcoming Maine App Challenge.
Created in 2015, this annual Challenge provides Maine students the chance to show off their skills and creativity by building a mobile application. No coding experience needed. Participants can use free resources provided at Code.org to code their app. Here is a sample app Matt made in Code.org. See Mr. Anesko for assistance.
Participants have the chance to win valuable prizes, including scholarships totaling $10,000! Plus, the first 50 entries receive a new Samsung tablet!
Submissions for the 2021 Challenge are being accepted April 1, 2021 through May 10, 2021. Go to the website for more information. Make sure to stay up to date by signing up for Maine App Challenge email!
