The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards celebrates excellence in student art and writing. Maine's student writers compete in the East region of the U.S, while Maine's art students' work is judged against other Maine students' work. Gold Key award-winning work at the regional or state level is then submitted to the national awards contest for jurying.
