After months of planning, we finally have the opportunity to move forward with a major facilities upgrade - the complete replacement of the third-grade roof at Pond Cove School.
This marks the first of many planned major capital improvement projects at Pond Cove, now that we have a clear direction for the future of our schools. It’s an important step toward safer, stronger, and more reliable learning spaces for students and staff alike.
With the contractor’s schedule opening up unexpectedly and the school calendar aligning, we have a brief but valuable window to complete the work over the upcoming four-day weekend.
Acting now allows us to complete this critical work before winter - preventing leaks, improving insulation, and marking the start of meaningful investment in Pond Cove’s future.
